Hi everyone!  Above is a link to my album of Brady's newborn pictures.  (If it doesn't work for some reason, please let me know!)  Ashley Otte Photography did the pictures (she also did Korie's 2 year pics), and she does an amazing job!  Hope you like them!

It's been quite an adjustment going from a family of 3 to a family of 4, to say the least.  Brady has had some health problems, and that makes things more complicated and difficult.  He has terrible reflux and pukes constantly.  We also discovered he has MSPI, milk soy protein intolerance.  His poor tummy/GI tract is unable to break down the proteins in milk and soy, and it causes pain and terrible stools.  He is very very fussy!  He is on a medication for his reflux, and I have modified my diet, cutting out all dairy and soy.  It's hard...soy and/or milk is in EVERYTHING!  I have also been taking him to a chiropractor to see if that helps.  I've never been a big believer in chiropractors, but I have several friends who SWEAR by it, so I figured I'd give it a shot.  We haven't seen much of an improvement yet, but hoping something helps him soon...it is so hard to listen to your baby scream and not be able to comfort him or do anything to make him feel better.  :(  Please pray that he gets better soon!

In addition to dealing with a fussy baby, Korie is having a little difficulty adjusting to our "new normal" with Brady.  She really seems to like him, and wants to hold him and kiss him all the time.  However, she has been acting out more and not wanting to sleep.  When we put her to bed, she won't stay there...she comes out at least 5 times a night and throws it fit.  Once she finally goes to sleep, she stays asleep, but it's been really hard...because she's not getting as much sleep, she is tired and crabby all day.  And mommy is tired and crabby too!  Hopefully we will find our groove soon and things will get better.  We've been lucky to have some help from family:  my in-laws came over earlier this week to occupy Brady so I could take a nap after a rough night, my mom has come over several times to do the same, and my grandma has come over frequently to play with Korie.  Thank you all!

As I previously mentioned, we bought a house!!!  Our original plan was to build a house in Carson, but the more we got into it and did our research, we wouldn't have been able to build the house we wanted for the money we wanted to spend.  And then, we happened to find the PERFECT house for sale in Council Bluffs.  We scheduled a showing and fell in love with it!  It is exactly what we wanted...and it's nice to avoid the building process, saving us money and stress!  We close on September 13th; we can't wait to move in as a family of 4 and make it our new home!!!
