Summer Fun at the Lake

Here are a few pictures of Korie at the lake this summer.  The time or two the weather was too cold to do much, but it's making up for it now...wow, it's been hot lately!  Korie looooves to be on the boat, feeding the ducks, playing with her cousin Livia, and she loves the pool that Nama and Papa have at the lake.

I know it's over a month late, but here is the 12th and final installment of Korie's monthly photo shoots at home.  She was still as obsessed as ever with trying to pull the sticker off her shirt.  :) 

Spoiled Girl

Korie was one lucky and spoiled girl for her birthday.  She received so many nice, fun gifts!  Here are a few pictures of her enjoying some of her favorite presents: the Dora ball pit, her new chair, her water table, and her Sit & Spin Zebra! 

Little Stinker

A couple of weeks ago, Mommy was tired after a busy night at work, and just took her eyes off Korie for about a minute.  When I looked up, this is what I saw in the kitchen/dining room.  Little Miss Naughty Pants had grabbed her uneaten bowl of yogurt off the table, tipped it over, smeared it all over the floor and herself, and was eating/licking it up (off the floor and out of the bowl).  What a little stinker!  But, as you can see from the last picture, she is just too darn cute to stay mad at!!!

Sweet Little Fishie

Korie and I have been taking a swim class this summer.  I thought it would be good to get her accustomed to the water, both so she likes it and she learns how to be safe.  So far, so good...she loves it!  We did an 8 week class, and we signed up again for another 8 weeks.  Korie is quite the little fishie!  She goes under water (although she's still not great about closing her mouth all the time), kicks her legs, paddles with her arms, reaches out for the edge of the pool and hangs on, and is learning how to climb out.  Her favorite part is counting to three and jumping in!
