This past weekend, our precious little miracle turned 1! Can you believe it?! Wow, the past year has flown by, but we have loved every second of it...the sleepless nights of a newborn, the teething, the playing, the growing, and all of the changes. It's been so amazing to watch Korie grown up before our eyes. She is such a beautiful, smart, funny, healthy little girl, and I am so grateful for her! We had Korie's birthday party at the lake, and she was surrounded by all her family, who love her as much as we do. She had a great time, and really dug into her cake. It was a wonderful day, and the party was a success! Earlier this week, Korie had her 1 year check up with Dr. Loucks, and she once again was deemed perfect and healthy. She weights 22 lbs 6 oz (72nd percentile) and is 31.5 inches long (98th percentile). She had blood drawn and had 3 shots, which caused some tears, but she was just fine after a little cuddling with Mommy. We are so blessed to have this wonderful little creature in our lives!
