Another Not-So-Great "First"

So we recently experienced another, not-so-great "first" with Korie.  Yesterday, Korie was diagnosed with her first ear infection.   :(    She's had a runny nose and congestion for about two weeks, so Mommy just assumed it was a cold.  Over the weekend, she started waking up a lot in the night, sleeping more during the day, and had green eye goobers.  So Mommy took Korie to the doctor, and she has an ear infection.  I felt terrible that I waited so long to take her!  However, our good little girl isn't letting it slow her down too much...still happy and playing as usual (most of the time).  Now if only Mommy could say the same...I have strep throat!  :(  Here are a few recent pictures!

Korie's 1st Easter

We had a great but busy day celebrating Korie's 1st Easter! We went to Lawrence to spend Easter morning with Namma, Papa, Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Roz, and Livie. We stayed at Liv's house Saturday night, and had brunch together at Maceli's, along with GG Paulsen. Korie got an Easter basket from Namm and Papa, Livie hunted Easter eggs, and we played in the park for a short while. Then, we hopped in the car and drove to Walnut for Easter dinner with the Hansens. Korie had fun "hunting" Easter eggs and playing with Kaitlyn, Preston, and Kamryn. Happy 1st Easter to our sweet Korie Paige!
