Busy baby

Korie is such a busy little baby.  She has really earned her nickname Daddy coined, "Korie Tornado"...she leaves a path of destruction everywhere she goes!  She started walking just before she turned 1, but for a long time, she didn't walk much.  She preferred to crawl.  But last month, one day out of the blue, she decided that walking was going to be her primary mode of transportation, and there was no stopping her!  Since that day, she has been running circles in this house!  Enjoy a few pictures of Korie from last month!

Little piggy

Korie is such a good eater...she loves to eat "big kid" food.  She was getting picky for a while, but she has started to eat some new things, and usually loves them!  Some of her favorites:  lasagna, barbeque pork, peas and corn, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, cheese, chicken, grilled cheese, avocados, bananas, and waffles.  Most of the time, the messier it is, the more she likes it!  :)

 

Korie's 4th of July

We spent the 4th of July in Walnut while Daddy played baseball in Massena.  It was just too darn hot to sit outside at a baseball game all day!  So instead, Korie spent a lot of time with the Tooley cousins: played at the splash pad, went to the Avoca parade and watched her cousins on the fire truck, and played at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Summer Fun at the Lake

Here are a few pictures of Korie at the lake this summer.  The time or two the weather was too cold to do much, but it's making up for it now...wow, it's been hot lately!  Korie looooves to be on the boat, feeding the ducks, playing with her cousin Livia, and she loves the pool that Nama and Papa have at the lake.
