Family photos

Here are the pictures we ordered from Korie's 1 Year and family photo session.  I will be printing several copies of each picture, but if anyone wants anything specific (wallet, 4x6, or 5x7), let me know and I will order it for you.  I am sooo thrilled with how they turned out...I am very lucky to have such an amazing little girl and family!  :)

Korie's 1 Year Pictures

Here is a preview of the pictures from Korie's 1 year photo session.  She did such a good job and was all smiles (almost)!  We also had a few family pictures done as well.  Despite Korie's unbelievably un-photogenic mother, they turned out really well!  I will be ordering pictures next week and will have rights to the digital negatives, so once I order them, I will post the pictures, and I can make copies for anyone who wants them.  Enjoy our beautiful little girl and my amazing little family!

The Big One!

This past weekend, our precious little miracle turned 1!  Can you believe it?!  Wow, the past year has flown by, but we have loved every second of it...the sleepless nights of a newborn, the teething, the playing, the growing, and all of the changes.  It's been so amazing to watch Korie grown up before our eyes.  She is such a beautiful, smart, funny, healthy little girl, and I am so grateful for her!  We had Korie's birthday party at the lake, and she was surrounded by all her family, who love her as much as we do.  She had a great time, and really dug into her cake.  It was a wonderful day, and the party was a success!  Earlier this week, Korie had her 1 year check up with Dr. Loucks, and she once again was deemed perfect and healthy.  She weights 22 lbs 6 oz (72nd percentile) and is 31.5 inches long (98th percentile).  She had blood drawn and had 3 shots, which caused some tears, but she was just fine after a little cuddling with Mommy.  We are so blessed to have this wonderful little creature in our lives!  Enjoy some pictures below from her birthday party.

Cute Little Fishie

Korie and I are taking a swim class this summer, and so far we love it!  Korie loves being in the pool, and I hope it will teach her both to like the water and how to be safe in the water.  We have had four classes, and the first time Korie went under the water, she didn't close her mouth and she choked/cough and cried. Last week, she went under 4 times and didn't choke or cry once!  Our little fishie is loving it!  Here she is having a snack before swim class.

Here are some pictures of Korie from the end of April.  She is such a busy, happy little girl!  Hard to believe she will be a year old in a couple of weeks!!!

11 Months Old!

Can you believe this sweet little baby is 11 months old?!  It's amazing to think she will be a year old in less than a month.  It's going by so fast!  Korie is quite the busy little girl.  She crawls at breakneck speed, and she is walking all over, with help.  She is into EVERYTHING!  There isn't a dull moment when she's down on the floor.  She is very into imitating: she imitates faces, she "woofs" back at Piper, fake coughs and laughs, and repeats sounds.  She is starting to talk a lot more too; her only official words so far are Mama and Dada, but she babbles constantly.  She says "nah nah nah" when she's done with something or mad, says "ba ba ba" and "duh duh duh" constantly, especially when she's concentrating on something.  She even has a version of sign language.  She waves her hands when she's "all done", has a hand signal for "more", and she wags a finger/hand at Piper when you say "No no Woofie!"  She loves to play in the kitchen, pushing anything across the tile floor, and she loves to clinb stairs.  Korie is quite the good eater.  Some of her favorites are Mommy's homemade mac & cheese and chicken & rice, as well as bananas, yogurt, applesauce, and crackers.  Enjoy a couple of pictures of our adorable 11 month old girl!
